The Fun Cheap or Free Queen: Foodie Tuesday recipe: Best Baked Ziti.
I just found an awesome blog about a mom/wife/awesome lady who does a fun “Foodie Tuesday” every week. She has a dope recipe for the “Best Baked Ziti ever” and I couldn’t resist reading it.
NOW I WANT IT. A LOT. So I’ll be making and freezing a batch at some point in the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, go check it out!!!
The amazing CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) that I get my home delivery organic produce from, New Roots Organics, always lists some great recipes to help eat up all the yummy fruits and veggies they bring their clients.
This week the recipe is “Warm New Potato Salad with Grainy Mustard”, and you can guess we’re getting a batch of new potatoes in our bin this week?!

I was entering this fun little contest today, for a chance to Host the Ultimate Chef Party with Celebrity chef George Duran and after I didn’t win, they gave me a fun little recipe. I was actually pretty impressed, because even though I didn’t win, the recipe they gave me (above, for Pizza Pockets) is super easy!
Not only did this remind me that I LOVE pita pockets, it also reminded me of when my mom would make me tuna pockets for lunch (not gross, even though it probably sounds like it).
