Summer Giveaways: Get your trigger finger ready!

Hello Kitchen kittens!

As you may remember from a few recent posts, I have a TON of stuff to giveaway on the blog, thanks to the fantastic folks at The Meyer Corporation and Amazon.com.

The first giveaway is coming up on Monday to celebrate the Munch’s 2nd birthday. (I basically can find any reason to give something away…) He is very aware that he’s going to be two. It’s pretty awesome.

Making sure the belly button is still there...

I haven’t decided what to giveaway first, but it’s going to be good, trust.

We Love You Fridays

So in case you haven’t heard, or don’t live in Seattle (which would suck if you’re reading this and live in, like, Florida….but sorry, you get lots of sun – give us SOMETHING, okay?!), you’ll want to know the following piece of RAD information:

(and I quote): Every Friday from May 21 to June 18, stop by a participating Seattle-area Starbucks after 2 p.m. and get free tickets to a special event while supplies last. There’s no purchase necessary! (Though we hope that won’t stop you from picking up a favorite drink.)

Now, I’ll be serious for a minute and say I don’t care what the event is, it’s going to be good, so just GO to Starbucks on Fridays at 2pm and get WHATEVER they’re giving you, but in case you’re picky, here’s a list as it stands now:

May 28 – Seattle International Film Festival

June 4 – Seattle Art Museum

June 11 – Seattle Aquarium

June 18 – BURN THE FLOOR at The Paramount

So, GO, DRINK (coffee), and ENJOY the Seattle summer!

Cha-Ching! It’s a GIVEAWAY!

That’s right!  Calling all friends, cooks, and foodies!

Starting next week, I’ll be doing a fist full of small giveaways.  Want to know what the prize is?  TOO BAD! Not yet!

I’ll give you a hint: what’s hot, brown and smells from 20 feet away? (Uh, seriously, get your mind outta the gutter! This is a FOOD blog.)

I hope you all had a great, restful weekend, without any headaches or stomach aches (That’d make one of us). I think my body is full-on revolting against me for all the Holiday treats I’ve been sampling…..

Cha-Ching! It’s a giveaway!

Happy New Year and Happy Monday morning everyone!

I told you last week that starting today you could enter a giveaway for a great piece of Rachael Ray cookware, and it’s true!

I got to hand pick the piece for the giveaway (is this one or two words, I can’t decide!), and the moment I saw this precious stoneware casserole dish with it’s smooth lines and heavy lid, I was in love. I wish I got to keep it for myself! BUMMER! But, yay for you guys!

Want to enter? Here’s how:

  1. Go to www.cookware.com and find your favorite item that you just can’t live without.
  2. Come back to the blog (doesn’t matter which post, as long as it’s from this week) and leave me a comment with the link to your favorite item and tell me why you want it!
  3. All comments left between 1/4/10 (12pm PST) and 1/8/10 (5pm PST) will be entered into a randomized electronic drawing.
  4. 1 winner will be chosen this time around, and I’ll post their name next Monday.  They have 24 hours to email me after that with their contact information before I pick a new randomized winner.
