If you haven’t heard of or seen an episode of “Check, Please! Northwest” on KCTS9, you have been missing out! You can check out many of the episodes here and get all caught up. Don’t know what it is? Set at SkyCity at the Needle, Check, Please! Northwest is a lively half-hour long program, where every week three passionate locals share their favorite eateries and hot spots around the city. After dining anonymously at each other’s restaurant picks, the show’s guests then gather with host Amy Pennington to passionately debate and champion their dining experiences.
In the meantime, here’s something you won’t have to miss out on, because it’s coming up this week, and now you know about it so you have time to buy a ticket!

So, you may be asking, “Siir’, what’s included and why is this so rad?” Good question! Here’s a snippet:
A music infused party on the SkyLine level and Observation Deck with some of the most popular local restaurants including The 5 Spot, Adam’s NW Bistro & Brewery, Barrio Mexican Kitchen & Bar, Blackboard Bistro, Chocolati, El Gaucho, Hunt Club at Sorrento Hotel, Local 360, Macrina Bakery, Mekong Village, Ray’s Boathouse, Shamiana, Skillet: Counter at the Armory, Stopsky’s Delicatessen, Tom Douglas’ Rub with Love, and SkyCity at the Needle.
Of course, there’ll be cocktails created by mixologists Jon Christiansen of Ba Bar and Monsoon, Vasillos Polimenako of Joule and Revel, and Sara Rosales from Radiator Whiskey. This includes a friendly competition to determine the best cocktail of the night, hosted by local bartender and radio personality Lisa Martin. Live music will be provided by Shelley and the Curves on the SkyLine level, and DJ Mullet on the Observation Deck.
And to top it off, I’ll be there! YAY! I hope to see you there, I can’t wait to eat all the eats, drink all the drinks (well, maybe not ALL of them!) and see the city lights from atop our iconic Needle (maybe I’ll even catch a glimpse of my buddy, the Wheedle?!).
